A man said he was going to stop coming to bible study. When the teacher asked why, the man replied and said "because I can't remember what I learned the week before."
The teacher said "how long have you been married?"
Man "25 years."
Teacher "and has your wife cooked for you every single day?"
Man "yes."
Teacher "what meals did she cook for you?"
Man "I can't remember. But I know she cooked for me."
Teacher "you can't remember what she cooked but it still nourished your body."
Man "well, yes."
Teacher "Coming to bible study and worship service is the same thing. You don't remember everything but you still nourishing your spiritual body."
Lesson learnt.
